A solar trailer that charges autonomous lawnmowers
Mobile solar and battery power for two robot mowers, with no grid connection and no permanent structure.

The brief
The site needed to keep two autonomous lawnmowers charged in an open field, with no grid connection nearby. A permanent building or ground-mount array would have meant planning permission and extra cost.
What we did
- Designed a 4kWp solar array and 10kWh battery system on a trailer, so it stays mobile rather than permanent.
- Built in charging for both mowers, so they can run and recharge on their own.
The outcome
The mowers run themselves on solar power, with no cables to the grid and no permanent structure in the field.
